"Wow! A hidden gem in jakarta Chinese area. Pork with noodles was amazing. Two types of pork with a clear broth. Also had the two egg over snow peas. While good it was too much for a single person. I would repeat the pork bowl 1000 times. Wait staff all smiles and do speak some english. There are a few other Chinese restaurants in that area and I will be trying all. They will be hard to beat the top Sammie."

"Excellent authentic chinese restaurant in town. Loved their pork dishes especially Siang Ping pai kut (honey pork ribs). The dishes are consistently good. Great service and friendly staff. 10/10. Highly recommend."

"Had Hainan chicken rice (just the rice, without the chicken) - taste was good and authentic. The pork ribs is really good. It's tender and we got the prime ribs section. Braised pork was flavourful and tender. Not too salty . Claypot tofu is good too, with plenty of seafood accompaniment The prawn paste dumpling also was really good. Enjoyed the dinner to the max. An authentic Chinese restaurant. Will surely revisit."

"Visiting this random restaurant on new years and surprisingly not bad. The food is quite good with a good portion for 3-4 persons. The taste also good, especially the sambal which provided on every tables. The place was quite old but they maintain in a good way. Suggestion for the toilet, please make a different room for waiters(resto staff) and the visitior, it is not a proper things to see and feel, they even only had 1 room toilet for man and woman."

"It looks very big from the outside, but the interior inside is a bit old school, traditional chinese resto. The place barely had people during my weekdays dinner time, only around 4-5 teams. Staff is very kind to explain the menu for us. We ordered: Mie Special Chasiu Siobak (IDR 60K) Super impeccable texture of thick noodles and delicious, juicy fried pork cuts melts in your mouth. Xiang Ping Pai Kut (IDR 270K) Best chinese pork ribs by far. Tender and the right sauce consistency completely coats the meat, pleasant taste in my mouth. Lumpia Udang ala Fajar (IDR 146.5K) Great fried lumpia with plump mouthfeel of shrimps meat bursting with each bite. While it has its price, the food was fresh and tasty. Wonder why not more people know the place. If the adjacent LMC is full, this can be a good alternative."
